The VCCC Hospital is Australia’s first ever, purpose-built comprehensive cancer hospital. The client and architect (Silver Thomas Hanley) chose Nature’s Steel bamboo handrails in Native Oak finish to complement the interior design and to assist in achieving their sustainability goals on the project. Since it was built, Nature’s Steel NSH-40 handrails have been used in various stages of fitout.  

Colin Russell is responsible for the maintenance of the facility and is very impressed with how well the handrail stands up to the constant wear and tear it receives.
